ANNUAL INSPECTION TAG
6 YEAR MAINTENANCEe
In order to stay in compliance with the Louisiana Fire Marshal, your business must have an annual inspection tag for each fire extinguisher.
Technician fully empties and inspects your fire extinguisher(s). During this process, the technician will discharge the extinguisher’s contents and inspect. Once the extinguisher’s cylinder has been cleared for continued use, the technician will
change o-rings, val steams, refill and recharge the extinguisher.
HYDRO TEST
The fire extinguishers will receive the same maintenance as was performed at year six. Then tested to ensure the structure can withstand 2.5 times the amount of pressure that an extinguisher will go through when in use. If the extinguisher passes, the cylinder will be recharged.
